On the 27th September 2009 I undertook the Rat Race Urban Adventure challenge with my best friend Tom Evans.
The day started with a low fresh temperature as we got to the start line at around 8am to start planning our route.
The Rat Race is a multisport adventure race that consists of running, cycling, kayaking, climbing and orienteering around London. Although team bldl.org didn't challenge any of the event winners we completed the course in 6 hours 48 minutes and raised £400 for St Richards Hospital, Chichester and Kings College London.
